WE'RE off to a flyer - thanks to you! Readers of the East Anglian Daily Times have helped raise almost £50,000 in just seven days to build a new children's hospice in Suffolk.

Thanks to an amazing response, East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) Treehouse Appeal for a new £3million centre in Ipswich is off to a spectacular start to its fundraising campaign.

Supporters have already pledged £49,861 to complete the specially-designed centre in four acres of woodland off Bixley Road in Ipswich just a week after the charity launched its ambitious campaign, backed by the EADT, to open the new complex by Christmas.

Well done everyone, check out http://bit.ly/Treehouseappeal to see how you can help
